We have 5 Glass systems that can be applied for Glass Pool Fencing

  • Concrete core fix system

HOW IT ALL WORKS

Concrete Core Fix System

  • Core 120mm deep holes using industrial diamond core drill

  • Fix spigots onto glass

  • Insert spigots into holes and plumb via x,y and z axis with string line

  • Fix using sika non shrink cement construction grout

  • Maximum strength allowing spans of up to 2 metre wide panels

Timber Deck Plate Fix System

  • Reinforcement of underneath deck with timber between joists

  • Fix spigots onto deck with bolts

  • Adjust spigots with string line so perfectly plum on x and y axis

  • Insert glass

  • Spans of up to 1600mm wide panels available on deck

  • Apply rigi-clamps for maximum strength allowing spans of up
    to 2000mm wide panels – see below

Rigi-Clamp

Rigi Clamps allow us to maintain a dead straight glass line on a timber deck.

Side Fix Spigot System

  • Reinforcement of side of deck with timber between joints

  • Fix spigots onto side deck with bolts

  • Adjust spigots with string line so perfectly plum on x, y and z axis

  • Insert glass

  • Spans of up to 1600mm wide panels available on deck

  • Apply rigi clamps for maximum strength and rigidity

Concrete Channel Fix System

  • Concrete grind and chase out 120mm x 120mm channel or insert aluminium u channel if doing a fresh concrete pour

  • Tile up to glass with 40mm gap (very important) 

  • Fix glass in position with braces and glazing packers making sure x, y and z axis are perfect (you only get one chance)

  • Grout off glass with 24 hour curing 50mpa cement based non shrink grout, while haunching to eliminate bubbles (if bubbles remain job will fail)

  • Spans of up to 2000mm wide panels

  • Silicon or grout tile up to glass

In Ground Fix System

  • Dig 400mm deep x 400mm wide holes

  • Construct frame from steel rio bar and mesh

  • Pour holes with concrete allowing 30-40mm below grass level

  • Core 120mm  deep holes using industrial diamond core drill

  • Spigots inserted into holes and fixed using sika non shrink cementitous construction grout

  • Maximum strength allowing spans of up to 2 metre wide panels

  • Fill in area with topsoil and grass

All our Glass is tested and certified as complying with the requirements of Australian and New Zealand standard 2208:1996 – Safety Glazing Material

Detailed Quality Control

At each stage of production (cutting, polishing, drilling, tempering and packing) dedicated quality control personnel inspect each sheet of glass. Glass identified as not conforming to the highest quality standards is set aside.
